Boliden Kokkola is a world-class zinc plant producing high-quality zinc products for the needs of renewable energy production, the green transition, and modern society. Zinc is essential in solar and wind power plants, energy transmission, cars, bridges, batteries, and construction \u2013 in everything that makes our lives functional and sustainable. <\/span><\/p>

Boliden has over 100 years of experience in metal refining. Unlike most industry players, Boliden controls the entire metal production chain, from mineral exploration to the utilization of recycled metals. <\/span><\/p>

Boliden has production facilities in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, and Portugal. The Group employs about 8,000 people. <\/span><\/p>
