<\/span>The city’s municipal group consists of the city organization, the municipal enterprise Kokkolan Vesi, and its subsidiaries, associated companies, and joint municipal authorities. The operational sectors of the City of Kokkola organization include urban environment, education and upbringing, culture and leisure, and environmental health care. The areas of responsibility for the city’s group administration and services include the city office, financial and information management services, human resources services, and economic development and urban development. The City of Kokkola and its group companies employ a total of approximately 2400 professionals from various fields.
