KOSEK serves companies at every stage, from establishment to growth and internationalization, and even through potential ownership changes. Our services are free of charge for all businesses operating in the Kokkola and Perho regions. We are also responsible for implementing the regional economic development program and providing services needed by companies, developing local businesses and industries, promoting internationalization, and supporting ownership transitions.

We help companies grow and invest to create new jobs. We communicate the strengths of Kokkola and Perho as business locations and operating environments, as well as excellent places to live. We work in cooperation with educational institutions and employment services to ensure skilled personnel and provide diverse training opportunities. Our extensive networks enable versatile connections regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Kokkolanseudun Kehitys Oy, KOSEK, is a development company founded on September 19, 2002, and owned by the City of Kokkola and the Municipality of Perho. KOSEK employs approximately nine people who work at the Kokkola City Hall office and the Perho municipal office.
