Kokkolan Energia is taking a new step towards carbon neutrality in district heating and industrial steam production by constructing two electric steam boilers and a district heating thermal storage unit at its power plants located in the Kokkola Industrial Park.

Tomas Mikkola serves as Harbour Master at Kokkolan Satama Oy. Having sailed the world's seas throughout his career, Tomas is originally from Kokkola and trained as a Master Mariner.
