Obtaining an access permit
Obtaining an access permit requires an invitation from the host/employer company or the client commissioning the work. Determine your role when entering the area: Are you a visitor, driver, contractor, or employee?
Complete the safety orientation corresponding to your role either in advance via the email invitation you received or at the Port Tower Visitor Center.
Entry to the area is always through the Port Tower Visitor Center. After verifying your identity, you will receive the necessary access permit. The permit is always personal or vehicle-specific and must be returned to the Port Tower Visitor Center.
Application for Bringing a Vehicle into the KIP Area
The KIP area is a nationally restricted zone for residence and movement. The area is fenced and under continuous camera surveillance.
Security personnel have the right to check individuals’ movement authorization and vehicles within the area. In addition, company staff have the right to verify movement authorization on their own premises.
Vehicle permits are vehicle-specific and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
Vehicles and drivers enter through the vehicle gate. Passengers must log their entry using their own access key.
Conditions for granting a permit
- Invitation from the host/employer company or client commissioning the work
- Justified need for vehicle use in the area (e.g., goods transport, work task)
Safety guide
The Safety Guide is intended for everyone working in the industrial area and port. The supplier must ensure that its own staff and any subcontractors are familiar with these instructions and comply with them in their work.
